Domain name registration

  Startup

How hard is it to register a domain name?  Easy.  You can go directly to Domain name registration as part of ordering services.  We provide domain name registration in conjunction with a hosting plan.  If you don't want to host it now, we will park your domain name under our UniWeb plan, payable by check for $25 in U.S. currency.  We park it for you for 2 years.  For a small additional fee, usually $25, we also publish for you one page on your domain, up to 100 KB including up to three images.  Plus, you get e-mail forwarding from yourname@yourdomain.com, which you can configure yourself through your Control Panel.

You can pay by Visa or Master Card through our Order form, or by check.  If we can also approve this with you over the phone, 954-236-8622, then we won't even wait for your check.  We'll immediately submit your domain for registration.  Normally it takes 12-48 hours to get a name registered through Open Veld.  It will normally show up in domain registration records within 2-5 days, and will be parked by Open Veld in your name for 2 years.
Do we then own mycompany.com?  Almost.  You have 30 days to pay Network Solutions $70 to maintain the registration for 2 years.  We will give you instructions on how to do this over the web, or by mail, and you should also receive from Network Solutions a bill or proof of payment, if you have already paid off the internet.
What about our 1-page web site?  There's an additional charge for this, either you can either provide us the HTML code, or e-mail what you want the web site to say.  This will include text, title, keywords, up to 3 graphics, and your preferred e-mail information.  If you want us to use some artistic liberty, we'll make it look reasonably good.  We will also include a small image link to the Open Veld site.  Any further changes will involve extra charges.
